For most of my life, I believed the stress was simply part of who I was.
I was the high achiever.
The perfectionist.
The one who pushed herself to succeed no matter how exhausted she felt.
I worked hard in school, earned a doctoral degree, constantly tried to meet expectations, and spent years striving to do everything “right.” I was raising four children, trying to keep everyone happy, be a supportive partner, succeed professionally, and hold everything together all at once.
From the outside, I looked successful and capable.
But internally, my body was paying the price.
I struggled with chronic stress, anxiety, heartburn, headaches, stomach issues, and the inability to truly relax. My mind was always racing. I felt constantly “on,” carrying pressure in my body that I didn’t know how to release.
For a long time, I normalized it.
I thought this was simply what ambitious women experienced.
Push harder. Keep going. Don’t slow down.
But eventually, I realized my body wasn’t working against me — it was trying to get my attention.
That realization led me down a path of holistic healing, nervous system regulation, and learning how to create safety within myself instead of constantly living in survival mode.
Healing didn’t happen overnight.
But little by little, I learned how to slow down, listen to my body, support my nervous system, and reconnect with myself in a completely different way.
And everything began to change.
Now, my mission is to help other high-achieving women who are overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, constantly carrying the weight of everything, and silently struggling beneath the surface realize that they do not have to keep living this way.
