About Dr. Heather
At a young age, I was told I just had a “sensitive stomach.”
But the truth was, I was carrying anxiety so deep in my body it kept me home from school for a week straight.
Anxiety has always been part of my story—woven through my family, my childhood, and every stage of life. I watched loved ones suffer in silence. I lost my father to suicide at 17. And I spent years missing out on experiences, relationships, and opportunities—not because I didn’t care, but because anxiety had such a powerful grip on my life.
There were times I thought, “Maybe this is just how I’m wired. Maybe I’ll always feel this way.”
But deep down, something told me not to give up.
That “something” led me down a path of holistic healing—where I finally learned to connect with my nervous system, listen to my body, and create inner safety from the inside out.
I didn’t heal overnight. But little by little, I reclaimed myself. I found peace I didn’t know was possible.
